Painting the Light in Pastel Workshop
with Jeannette Cuevas
Join renowned artist Jeannette Cuevas for an inspiring three-day immersion into the expressive world of mixed media, combining the luminous quality of watercolor with the rich, vibrant texture of pastel. This workshop, held in the stunning, high-desert landscape of Alpine, Texas, from April 24-26, will focus on the dynamic interplay between these two powerful mediums.

Bring your own painting supplies, come and go as you please; no formal instruction, just artists painting together.No signup fee, thanks to generous support from Big Bend Arts Council.But please let me know if you are coming so we have a head count. Once again we will have Camp Peak (between Alpine and Fort Davis) as our Home Base for this event. There are loads of painting subjects at the camp, PLUS we have been invited to paint at three private ranches over the course of the five days.

Please let me know if you would like to stay at Camp Mitre Peak.We have one building reserved for our exclusive use.It has 7 beds/ 5 bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a full kitchen and large common area. The nightly rate is $20, to be paid 4 weeks in advance. Other accommodations are available in Alpine and Fort Davis, including the newly re-opened Indian Lodge at Davis Mountains State Park.
