What is a meeting like?
Here are just some typical meeting topics...
1. Operational Updates
This is the "nuts and bolts" section
-
Gallery Updates: A report on foot traffic, recent sales, maintenance needs (lighting, paint, etc.), and any recent changes
-
Financial Status: A transparent look at the books. This includes reports from the bbac treasurer.

2. The Creative Calendar
-
Upcoming BBAC Shows: Planning for the next exhibition. This involves discussing curation themes, submission deadlines, "Call for Art" statuses, and installation schedules. This often includes logistics like volunteer sign-ups or marketing efforts.
-
Community Events: Coordination for workshops, artist talks, or neighborhood events. Stay up to date on community art events.

3. Engagement & Culture
-
Show and Tell: A low-pressure space for members to share what they are currently working on. It’s great for getting feedback, finding collaborators, or just celebrating new work. (when specially scheduled)
-
A dedicated time for members to propose new ideas, offer suggestions, or tell everyone about upcoming events
-
Meet other members and join a fun group of artists and art lovers!
