I make my jewelry because I like touching minerals and gemstones. I never met a rock I didn't like, and gemstones look like rocks before they are polished.

Minerals and gemstones lie within the earth and it takes care and work to bring them to the surface. Sometimes they erode naturally to be picked up easily. These rocks have taken eons to form and so to be able to see, touch and wear something that is so old and beautiful I feel is extraordinary.

I crochet most of my jewelry with copper wire that is silver or gold-plated. Most of the beads are gemstones, but I also use pearls and glass. The necklaces and bracelets can be gently tugged or shaped by the wearer if desired.
