Biography
Corpus Christi, Texas has been my home since I was six years old.  After graduating I attended Del Mar College, married and raised four children. After high school I joined the local art center and began to enter shows and competitions. At that time I was painting with watercolors and acrylics.

I have won several awards, and my paintings are in homes around the world. Later on I taught myself silk painting with dyes and fell in love with the medium. I painted on silk as paintings to frame and to wear.  A clothing designer commissioned me to do some of her fabric.
I have saved all my grandmother's china painting supplies from years ago - white beautiful porcelain, and so now I am having a wonderful time painting on china.  It is a challenge - nothing like other mediums and much more difficult.

Since my youngest daughter and her husband have moved to Alpine, I have come to love the Big Bend area.  I joined the BBAC to be a part of the community there. My porcelain mugs were exhibited in the 2018 Clay Works show at Gallery on the Square.
