I come from a very remote and small part of the vast Navajo Nation in New Mexico. My family stems from the Athabaskan Natives that migrated to the South West. My culture is the main inspiration for my work. I work with nature, carving from indigenous wood like cottonwood, juniper and cedar. I try to incorporate many natural and spiritual elements into my craft. My goal is to pass along the thoughts, folklore, ideas and spirit of those who came before.
Through my art work I tell the story of being a Native American. Through my work I tell the story of being Navajo.
