West Texas National Bank/

Big Bend Regional Medical Center

West Texas National Bank welcomes the work of BBAC members in its lobby. The bank has 12+ easels on which work in any medium may be displayed for one month, starting on the first working day and ending on the last working day. This is a high-traffic area and affords a wonderful opportunity to showcase your work.

Following the month at the bank, the artist moves her or his work to Big Bend Regional Medical Center for one month, starting the first working day and ending the last working day. Work at the hospital hangs in the hallway leading to the patients' wing; therefore it must be framed in a way that allows hanging.

NO SHOW IS SCHEDULED IN NOVEMBER OR DECEMBER AT WTNB.

NO SHOW IS SCHEDULED AT BBRMC IN DECEMBER OR JANUARY.

Certain rules apply:

  • Both the bank and the hospital have artist's release forms that must be completed and submitted before the work can be displayed. Download these forms and print them or contact the BBAC show director if you are unable to print them yourself.
  • The BBAC does not receive a commission on sales at either WTNB or BBRMC.
  • The artist is responsible for hanging/taking down the shows. Touch base with person currently showing at the bank to coordinate the exact date for the change of display for the month.
  • The artist is responsible for preparing labels using BBAC format. Or send information, at least a week ahead of bank setup, to GOTS to be printed. Information includes name of artist, title of piece, medium, price.
  • To publish notice of your show, contact the BBAC show director, who will send the notice to local paper. Information to include:
    • theme of the show (not necessary if you don't have one),
    • dates for the show
    • Artist name, medium, and a short artist statement.
  • Copy may be edited to fit space available in the Avalanche Rockslides.
